UCR Alumni Association Board of Directors

The UCR Alumni Association welcomed two new members to the board of directors. They began their two-year terms July 1.

Anthony Bonales ’18, is one of UCR’s 40 Under 40 honorees for 2022. Bonales is a manager for accounting special projects at the Wonderful Company in Los Angeles. He volunteers his time as a board member and finance chair of The First Tee of Central Valley and as a board member and CFO of The First Tee of Los Angeles.

Sharon Dalmage ’04, is the dean of academic affairs at Pierce College in Los Angeles. She previously served as the director of extended services and STEM for Antelope Valley College. Dalmage volunteers with Easter Seals of Southern California and served as the president of the Southern California Council on Black American Affairs for 12 years, ending her tenure in 2021.

New UC Alumni Regent

Jeff Pack ’78, was selected as the UCR representative for the UC Board of Regents and began his term July 1. As a representative, Pack will serve one term as regent-designate and treasurer of the Alumni Associations of the UC, or AAUC, during 2023-24, and then as regent with full voting powers and vice president of AAUC in 2024-25.
