Staying Busy, Both On- and Off-Campus
There is always something to do in Riverside. UCR is a campus that surges with activity. With over 300 clubs, exciting Division I athletics and fine arts and musical performances, including up-and-coming bands at the Barn and the Bell Tower, there is enough to keep anyone busy. Most on campus events feature free or discounted admission to current undergraduate students with a UCR ID.
Off campus, the Riverside community teems with entertainment and culinary opportunities. If you can't find something to do, you just need to look around a bit.

KUCR From cutting-edge indie rock and progressive hip-hop to jazz and classical by the world's great performers and orchestras, KUCR has been the voice of UC Riverside since 1966. As the educational, noncommercial radio station managed and operated by UCR students, faculty and staff, KUCR’s mission is to offer an alternative to what’s available in the commercial broadcast marketplace. Get Involved with Clubs and OrgsWhatever your interests, you'll find a club or organization with other like-minded students at UC Riverside. With nearly 300 clubs and organizations, including fraternities and sororities, there are always lots of opportunities to get involved. 
R'Side Events From Block Party to HEAT to Spring Splash, find out about our annual festivals that bring big named artists to campus.
Student Recreation Center Take part in a game of pick-up basketball or try a yoga class at our 80,000-square-foot Student Recreation Center. The SRC is the hub of recreational, intramural and club sports on campus, as well as our Outdoor Excursions Program.
Support Your Highlanders UC Riverside Intercollegiate Athletics is a proud member on NCAA Division I and the Big West Conference. The Highlanders compete in 17 sports. Home events are free for undergraduate students to attend (with UCR ID). Get out and support your fellow students and show your UCR spirit!
Sustainability Along with implementing environmentally responsible standards campus-wide, the Office of Sustainability creates opportunities for you to become educated and involved with green practices. Find out about special events, programming and volunteer and internship positions, and help us build a promising future.
