The Dynamic Genome

UCR Professor Susan Wessler holds the Neil A. and Rochelle A. Campbell Presidential Chair for Innovation in Science Education and is a member of the prestigious National Academy of Sciences. She teaches The Dynamic Genome, a course that enables an exceptionally diverse pool of more than 500 freshmen to participate in innovative research that originates in labs across the UC Riverside campus. Students experience the excitement of discovery as they work with practicing scientists to design experiments, parse data, and master genomics techniques.
