- Fulbright Students and Faculty
There are a variety of scholarships and award opportunities available to UCR students who wish to study abroad. From UCR-specific Opportunity Abroad Program scholarships to prestigious scholarships like the Gilman, Duttenhaver and Fulbright scholarships, the International Education Center can help you find the scholarship that is best for you.
- English language, Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma programs
Many different short-term English language, Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma programs are offered by UCR’s International Education Programs, Extension. International Education Programs also develops Custom Programs for groups.
- Host Family Programs
Some international students who attend UC Riverside choose to live in the home of an American family during their stay. The host families provide a room, three meals a day and transportation to UCR for classes and UCR sponsored activities. This experience is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in American culture.
- International Women's Exchange
The International Women’s Exchange meets every Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the International Education Center. The program allows women of all nationalities to come together exchange culture and ideas and to build friendships. It is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn more about a variety of cultures.
