- Education Abroad Program
- Hosted by the International Education Center, the Education Abroad Program offers full-year and short-term programs in a wide range of academic disciplines.
- Summer Study Abroad Program (Summer Sessions)
The UCR Summer Travel Program is hosted by the Summer Sessions office. Students travel with their instructor and generally earn eight units of credit during each five-week session. Recent destinations have included Madrid, London and Hue, Vietnam.
- Opportunities Abroad Advising and Processing, including POAA
The International Student Resources Center is the home for Planned Opportunities Abroad Agreements (POAA). POAA provides UCR students access to non-University of California study abroad programs, permitting them to study abroad for transfer credit and to use eligible financial aid for direct enrollment or through a third party.
- Fulbright, Boren , & Gilman Competitions
There are a variety of scholarships and award opportunities available to UCR students who wish to study abroad. From UCR-specific Opportunity Abroad Program scholarships to prestigious scholarships like the Gilman, Duttenhaver and Fulbright scholarships, the International Education Center can help you find the scholarship that is best for you.
- Summer Study Abroad (Extension Programs)
UCR Extension offers opportunities for UCR undergraduate and graduate students to participate in summer study abroad programs with their partneruniversities. Scholarship assistance may be available.
