Centers and Institutes
The spirit of collaboration across disciplines has allowed the university to develop an enviable collection of centers and institutes where real-life problems get an extra dose of scrutiny, and where high-impact results are the norm.
Many of these centers and institutes address serious issues in our society -- air pollution, water, energy, biodiversity, natural resources, transportation, land use and economic growth. UCR scholars are working together to find solutions to these problems. New faculty have an opportunity to join these efforts and reach a higher understanding in their field of study through such valuable collaborations.
