Opportunities for Staff

• Education and Development courses, offered through UCR Human Resources, give employees the opportunity for career growth that can enhance their contributions to the University’s missions and goals.
• Labor Relations, including Collective Bargaining, and Workers’ Compensation are handled through UCR Human Resources.

Opportunities for Faculty

• The Office of Academic Personnel oversees the hiring of faculty and academic staff at UC Riverside. Position openings are listed on departmental sites as well as on the Southern California Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (SoCalHERC).
• There are great opportunities for faculty at the UC Washington DC Center. UCR sends a faculty member to teach and work at the center every academic quarter.

• UC Washington DC Academic Internship Program offers qualified undergraduates an opportunity to combine course work, field research and work experience during a quarter's residence in our nation's capital.
• The International Education Center presents volunteer and internship positions around the world, allowing students a chance to grow through unique opportunity.
• UCR's Graduate Division hosts the Mentoring Summer Research Internship Program (MSRIP), an eight-week summer research program for rising juniors and seniors from educationally and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The goal is to increase the number of students from diverse backgrounds who go on to pursue Ph.D.
