Online Town Hall Meetings Effective
Personal interaction with a member of Congress in online town hall meetings significantly improves a constituent’s views of the official and the level of political engagement likely in the future. UCR political scientist Kevin Esterling is part of a research team that finds online meetings increase constituent trust and perception of lawmakers.
