  • Business Administration Advising
    All students entering either the business preparatory or business administration major are advised by the undergraduate academic advisers. The business administration program is unique in that it manages department and college approvals for major-changes, petitions, academic action, articulation, transfer courses, readmission decisions, preliminary and final degree checks for undergraduate students in the business major. Advisers work with students from the time they enter the program through graduation.
  • College of Engineering Student Affairs
    Academic Advisors assist in all department-level and college-level advising services, including:
    • Assessing academic qualifications and progress.
    • Assist students with quarterly and annual course planning, registration details, enrollment questions, and prerequisite satisfaction.
    • Counsel prospective students on academic requirements necessary to enter the College's programs.
    • Refer students to campus services and resources, as appropriate.
    • Review candidates' eligibility for readmission, special admission, major change, double majors, and minors.
    • Evaluate and advise students in academic difficulty. Act on student petitions for exceptions to College and/or department requirements.
    • Review student degree progress toward graduation. Advise students of discrepancies discovered in these reviews.
  • College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences Student Affairs
    Information including details on the 51 majors in CHASS, breadth requirements, dates and deadlines and transferable courses.
  • College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences Student Academic Affairs
    Provides a variety of services to help guide CNAS students to the resources they need to successfully complete their educational objectives. Services include:
    • Mandatory, academic advising every quarter to all CNAS undeclared undergraduate students.
    • Advising and required processing of student requests.
    • Certifying that baccalaureate degree requirements have been met for all CNAS graduating seniors.
  • Pre-Business Student Affairs
    Though part of the CHASS Advising program, Pre-Business specializes in working with students who seeking the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
  • Science/Mathematics Initiative (Pre-Teach Advising)
    To facilitate in the advising of students toward completing a Bachelor's degree in science, mathematics, or engineering along with the possibility of establishing eligibility towards entrance into an intern teaching credential program
  • Undeclared CHASS Student Affairs
    Undeclared students are advised in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, Student Academic Affairs.
