Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost
Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Dallas Rabenstein is responsible for managing the daily operations of the UCR campus and works closely with the chancellor in the formulation of our campus vision and the implementation of academic and administrative policies. In addition, he works closely with the deans of UCR's colleges, schools and divisions in recruitment and retention of faculty and is the principal liaison to the Academic Senate.
The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost is responsible for overseeing a number of departments and functions at UCR, including:
- Office of Academic Personnel
- Campus Information Services (formerly Computing & Communications)
- Office of Conflict Resolution
- Office of Undergraduate Education
- School of Medicine, Planning Office
- Palm Desert Graduate Center
- The proposed Office of International Affairs
- Strategic Academic Research & Analysis (formerly Institutional Planning & Analysis)
